Singer and a songwriter in the 1980s for indie pop jangle bands Jump on Tufty and The Auctioneers mp clarke also sang and wrote for The Trampoline Situation and Elastic in the 1990s. He is currently part of progressive art pop duo Those Men.

UK based singer /songwriter, mp clarke recorded 'The Clarke's Tale' album at The Hive studio from May-December 2012. The remastered songs are now available to listen to and buy on the Music page. This set of songs chronicles mp clarke's walk from London to Canterbury following the same route the Chaucerian pilgrims took on their journey at the end of the fourteenth century.
The 'Drawers through the ceiling ' album (2021) is also available through the Music Page. This recording covers some of the key songs from mp's back catalogue. Recording of its sister album ' Sifted too' is currently taking place with a predicted release date of Spring 2024.

A new visual/aural feature coming here from Monday 28th August 2023. 'The Gallery Of Active Imagination' is showing the fruition of a collaboration with artist Tim Carter. 17 musical pieces have been created to accompany each one of his 17 specially selected paintings. On the last Monday in August, Room 1 in the virtual gallery ,16*, will be opened to show 'Serpent and dove'. Then every Monday up to and including the week of the Winter Solstice a new room will be opened to display another painting with its associated music.
